César Giraldo was born in Colombia, where as a child he discovered his love for color and form, which to date are the foundational elements of his design. Recognized as the fashionista rock star designer of Los Angeles with celebrity clientele, his aesthetics can be defined as an ongoing dialogue between innovative contemporary designs, and the timeless craftsmanship of the past. It is this juxtaposition of old meets new that inspires him to design beautiful interiors and to continue finding innovative ways to creatively express his vision.
While best known for his luxurious, high-end residential and commercial design, César enjoys participating in speaking engagements and art installations, such as the La Cienega Design Quarter (LCDQ) and WestEdge Design Fair annual events, which gather VIPs and tastemakers from the worlds of interior design, art, fashion and architecture.
