The architectural studio LuoghiCOMUNI was founded in Rome in 2007 on the initiative of architects Enrico M. Turella and Chiara Celidoni. In 2011 architect Massimiliano Nico joined the team, thus defining, along with other young and brilliant collaborators, the current configuration of the studio.
LuoghiCOMUNI brings in its name the paradoxes related to the figure of the architect and to the world of architecture, with the intention of going beyond it by moving in countertendency. The traditional definition of architectural studio would thus be not sufficient to describe the will to become a true meeting place between professionalism and experiences to be shared, in the perspective of an holistic, multidisciplinary and integrated design vision.
The tree partners have an academic and professional background informed by the themes of environmentally and ecologically sustainable design. The attention to these issues is still today a core aspect in their activity, supported by a continuous research in terms of materials and innovative technologies and by the establishment of direct and profitable relationships with national and international companies, mainly in the interiors design supply sector.
The dynamism of the components of the studio is evidenced by the diversification of the activities and disciplines involved in the different works, while maintaining as a cornerstone to their strategy the project intended as the element of synthesis, even if approached differently each time.
