After collaborating with Renzo Piano, Daniele Lauria founded his own studio in 1999 and the first project was a pavilion built in Piazza della Signoria in Florence and then exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2000.
In the following years, he had multiple public and private assignments for restoration e Real estate enhancement through reuse or new set -ups, among these is mentioned that of the Olivetti shop in Venice, designed by Carlo Scarpa.
Since 2009 the firm has opened up to several professional collaborations, mainly in South America. Starting from Brazil, his operates now in fifteen countries of the world with projects from the urban scale to interior design.
His projects include the restoration of the Orsanmichele Museum in Florence, the Piacenza's State Archives, the Motorola headquarters in San Paolo in Brazil, luxury residences in Mexico but also interventions in the fields of hotels, retail and cultural spaces.
He has been project's partner of German Samper, Zaha Hadid Architects, the Pritzker Prize Balkrishna Doshi and Kengo Kuma. With him, Daniele Lauria he ranked second on the competition for the Florence's Stadium and is a finalist for the restoration of the Egyptian Museum of Turin.
